WasteAway has many ways to install. You can check out our installation page for some of the solutions. If you are from a cold winter climate, we have developed enclosures that allow you to use the WasteAway all winter long. It can be installed in the garage if your home is on a basement or crawl space. It can either be bracketed to an exterior wall near a sewer clean-out or buried in-ground, so the top of the lid is flush with your lawn. Generally, if you walk you dog to do his business you can connect to the sewer cleanout in front of your house. Keep it close to the foundation wall and that will keep it from freezing. in the winter use a bucket of water to flush when the WasteAway is full. You don’t need to flush the WasteAway every time you use it. You can almost fill it full of waste before you flush it. Detailed instructions are included with every WasteAway for homeowner or professionally installed. the garage is a great place to install if your home is on a basement or crawl space especially it you have a bathroom located on the wall between the house and garage. You need a steel 3” pipe to penetrate the wall and fire calking around the pipe to maintain the fire 20- minute fire rating of that wall between the house and the garage.

Yes! We designed our Dog Walking Bag and PoochPouch with pooch parents in mind. Each carry pouch has a used bag pouch along with the new bag part of the pouch. You can keep those messy bags stored away and hands-free while you finish your walk. Then, simply dump the bag when you find a trash can, toilet or WasteAway preferably.
