We ship to all 50 U.S. states, including:

  • Contiguous United States (48 states)

  • Alaska & Hawaii (additional fees apply)

  • P.O. Boxes (USPS delivery only)

  • APO/FPO/DPO addresses (military addresses)

International Shipping

Currently, we do not offer international shipping. We are actively working to expand our sustainable pet waste solutions globally. Check back soon for updates!

Delivery Address Requirements

Important: We are not responsible for delays or lost packages due to incorrect addresses. Additional fees may apply for address corrections.

Signature Requirements

  • Orders over $200 may require signature confirmation

  • P.O. Boxes must use USPS shipping methods

  • Rural routes may have limited delivery days

Failed Delivery Attempts

If delivery fails due to:

  • Incorrect address: Package returned to us; reshipping fees apply

  • No one available to sign: Carrier leaves notice; held at facility for pickup

  • Refused delivery: Treated as return; refund minus shipping costs

Special Shipping Circumstances

Large or Heavy Orders

Bulk orders (10+ units) or heavy items may:

  • Ship via freight carrier

  • Require additional processing time (2-3 days)

  • Incur additional shipping fees (calculated at checkout)

Split Shipments

If your order contains:

  • Items from different warehouses

  • Pre-order and in-stock items

  • Oversized items requiring special handling

Your order may ship in multiple packages with separate tracking numbers. You will not be charged additional shipping fees for split shipments.

Weather Delays

During severe weather events, delivery times may be extended. We will notify you of any known delays and work with carriers to minimize impact.

Order Changes & Cancellations

Before Shipment

Contact us immediately to:

  • Change shipping address (if order not yet processed)

  • Upgrade shipping method (additional charges apply)

  • Cancel order (full refund issued)

After Shipment

  • Cancel the order

  • Change the shipping method

You may refuse delivery or initiate a return once received.

Lost or Damaged Packages

Lost Packages

If your tracking shows delivered but you haven't received your package:

  1. Check with neighbors and around your property

  2. Contact the carrier directly with your tracking number

  3. File a claim if package cannot be located

  4. Contact us after 48 hours if still missing

We will work with you and the carrier to resolve the issue. Replacement or refund provided after carrier investigation.

Damaged Packages

If your package arrives damaged:

  1. Take photos of the damaged packaging and contents

  2. Keep all packaging materials

  3. Contact us within 7 days at stevesr@pethabitats.com

  4. Provide photos and order number

We will send a replacement immediately at no cost and file a claim with the carrier.

Stolen Packages

Pet Habitats is not responsible for packages stolen after delivery confirmation. We recommend:

  • Shipping to a secure location

  • Using signature confirmation for high-value orders

  • Purchasing shipping insurance for orders over $200

Shipping Restrictions

Undeliverable Locations

We cannot ship to:

  • International addresses (outside U.S.)

  • Freight forwarding addresses

  • Temporary lodging addresses (hotels, motels) for orders over $100

Product Restrictions

Certain products may have shipping limitations due to:

  • Weight or size restrictions

  • Carrier regulations
