Frequently Asked Questions
-
Our poop bags are made from Poly-Vinyl Alcohol This is the same product that you use in your dishwasher soap pod, it dissolves in water by temperature. This technology has been around for years with many products. Our 2-layer bag is made with a lower bag temp on the outer bag and a higher temp that is much smaller to incapsulate the pet waste. When you flush the bag the outside layer melts very quickly so that it does not hold air so that it does not float to not let it flush properly. Regular bags can take up to 500 years to decompose whereas ours start melting immediately.

Biodegradable Dog Poop Bags Are buried the first day in the landfill. They require heat and oxygen to decompose. They are part of the pile. The other issue is that waste in the landfill creates methane forever. When you put your pet waste into the sewer system where it belongs it is treated and reintroduced back into the environment as nitrogen
-
This process is not advisable. You need high heat to kill bacteria and pathogens. Without additional heat do not compost pet waste especially cat waste.
-
Biodegradable products break down through exposure to bacteria and sunlight. Whereas compostable products need a composting system to manage their breakdown process.
-
Measurements: Designed for standard dispensers Our heavy-duty bags are strong enough to pick up waste from pets weighing up to 150 pounds.
-
Biodegradable dog poop bags can leach out toxins in landfills and waterways. They can also contain toxic chemicals like polypropylene and fragrances. Along with the waste it’s self-creating methane!
-
FLUSHING BIO POOP BAGS WILL CLOG your pipes! Bio poop bags should be thrown in the trash, NOT flushed down the toilet.
-
It takes 3-6 months to completely break down when exposed to oxygen and water. neither of these are not available once buried in the landfill.
-
In order for your dog’s poop bags to compost correctly you should place them into a compostable bag within 24 hours after your dog relieves himself outside.
-
Biodegradable poop bags can hold waste just as well as traditional plastic bags. Once you bury your dog’s poop bag in the yard biodegradable bags will start decomposing.
